Due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil, the elephants that are native to this region are the largest that can be found anywhere in the world. Besides the picturesque hippo lake, your picnic lunch will be provided to you. After that, you will have some time to have picnic lunch in the crater and later ascend out of the crater and continuing on to Arusha.
