Day 1: Departure from Arusha for Tarangire National Park

We assume you arrived a day before today. After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you form the hotel accommodation in Arusha and take you to Tarangire National Park so you can begin your adventure there driving through the beautiful terrain passing through some exciting local towns, you shall reach Tarangire in about 3 hours. Tarangire National park is famous for the highest Elephant concentration, savannahs, giant baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River – for aquatic life sightseeing.

In order to quench their thirst and escape the suffocating heat of Africa, the animals congregate at the river giving you a great opportunity to sightsee them as they drink or cool their temperature in the river. You may come across animals such as giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest during your time there. In addition to buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest, the park is home to a variety of other exciting animals.

In the evening game drive, you shall also sightsee some Predators like lions and leopards which are continuously on the watch for these animals. You’ll be able to take in the view and see the plethora of wildlife from the vehicle’s open top. A picnic lunch with water will be served in the park before you proceed to your Tarangire accommodation, where you will check in, enjoy supper, and spend the night.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti

Following breakfast, you have the option of driving up the crater highlands and parking near the rim for a breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater.

After that, you may continue on to the wide Serengeti grasslands that stretch as far as the eye can see. Around two million wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, lions, mongoose, hares, monkeys, baboons, honey badger, jackal and more live in this awesome land and immediately after arrival at the park, you shall embark on a drive to search for them.

Between the months of January and April, wildebeests, plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles all give birth to their young ones and large carnivores like as leopard, lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are always in a hunt for them. This is the best time to witness calving and predator hunting.

In the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive to witness the great animals of Serengeti before returning to your safari accommodation for dinner, relaxation and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park Safari full day

You will get up very early to go on a game drive in the morning to witness the magnificent African sunrise, which is widely regarded as one of the most amazing spectacles in the world. proceed for yet another exciting game drive in the famous Serengeti to witness some of the animals you might have not seen the previous day.

Ensure your cameras and phones are fully charged to take back memories with exciting photography as you sightsee incredible wonder of Serengeti.

Day 4: Ngorongoro to Arusha 

After an early breakfast, you will pack up and leave the resort in order to make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater. The final part of your game drive will take place on a winding path that descends into the caldera. You will get the opportunity to witness a diverse collection of birds and animals.

The Ngorongoro crater is home to around 25,000 species of animals, including the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros, and leopard), as well as more than 500 species of birds (a collapsing volcano).

This huge crater is home to the largest concentration of biodiversity on earth, comprising almost all of the animal species that are native to East Africa, including the critically endangered black rhinoceros.

Within the crater, you will have a picnic lunch, and then later in the day, you will ascend  the crater before making your way back to Arusha, arriving there in the late afternoon hours.
